Brick Internships for Sp2010

Video Interns (2): Two credits will be granted to these interns. Interns will assist the video editor with various news pieces, including breaking news, campus news, and the arts. Interns should be familiar with Final Cut (preferred), iMovie, Avid, or Adobe Premiere Pro. Interns will gain knowledge about video editing software and how to structure a video news piece. Interns will be also helping with Brick TV on PTV, our weekly news show on our campus television station. Students who have taken Broadcast Journalism classes are strongly recommended to apply. We are also looking for New Media or Media Society and the Arts majors, but anyone is welcome to apply if you have a passion for producing news videos. Attendance at weekly meetings is required.

several paid internships for the spring semester of 2010 for college
students interested in game design. Both the game design and

Internship Opportunity – People’s Television

Marketing and Production intern
Intern to help develop relationships with partner organizations and community groups to distribute current and future media projects by People’s Television.   Other responsibilities include helping to manage our online presence, including our own websites/blogs and presence on social networking and video sites. Intern may assist in areas of fundraising, research, grantwriting, permissions, locations, script revising, etc. for feature projects currently in development by People’s Television.

This position is open to students of all majors (with 30+ credits).  Only requirement is strong communication skills and an interest in social media projects.  

The internship bears 4 upper-level credits for 5-10 hours/week.  The internship is unpaid, all travel and expenses will be reimbursed.
